Re: Engineering was formed by Patrick Kent in May 2003.
Following almost thirty years in local government municipal engineering and senior management as a chief officer, he formed the business in response to the rising demand for municipally trained professionals and engineers with senior management experience.
In its first year of trading the company has contributed to a wide range of projects and initatives. These range from:
- Engineering and technical input on major development and regeneration proposals;
- Representation & interpretation of highway and transportation issues for various groups and agencies;
- Senior and executive management advice on projects and programmes;
- Negotiation on highway and planning agreements;
- Public/Private sector liaison.
Re: Engineering has also undertaken the restructuring of major services on behalf of local government departments and has very successfully represented a range of clients at public inquiries and appeals.
Skilled in negotiation, Re: Engineering can also assist in the development of Section 106 and other agreements as well as many other aspects of highway planning and legislation.
Patrick Kent is an experienced professional witness at public inquiries and appeals and has successfully represented authorities at over 50 appeals as their professional highways and transportation witness.
In October 2005 Re: Engineering became a Limited Company registered as Re: Engineering Consultancy Limited, the Company Directors, Patrick Kent and Elizabeth Godfrey, look forward to developing the company further.
The Company structure and scope of the practice has now been supplemented through additional support.
