The "back office" administration sections of this site are currently being redesigned and upgraded.
It is planned that the site will be fully operational and functioning again by 12th April 2009.
We are currently updating the news, project and client pages and expect the new content to be published within the next seven to 10 days.

Abbey Road appeal allowed

Following the refusal of planning consent by Members of Bexley Council's Planning Committee for the scheme despite the support of officers support and their recommendations to approve the scheme, the decision was made by the applicant's Hexagon Housing, to take the scheme to public inquiry.
Working closely with Savills, Davies Arnold & Cooper, Alan Camp Architects under the direction of Reuben Taylor of Landmark Chambers and the appellents, Hexagon housing, Re: Engineering Consultancy provided and presented the highways and traffic evidence to the public inquiry.
The Planning Inspectorate's decision, issued on the 10th January 2008, allows the appeal with an award of costs against the Council in relation to the highways evidence.
We are pleased with the positive result and thank the rest of the appeal team at Landmark Chambers, Alan Camp Architects, Savills and Davies Arnold and Cooper as well as hexagon for their support of Re: Engineering Consultancy Limited.

Public Inquiry

Successfully winning several appeals and inquiries ovcer the last year Re:Enginnering have now suceeded in the hearing for a new access at Hither Cottage, Hither Lane, Barnet, with the appeal being allowed.
The run up to Christams sees Re: Engineering attending and presenting evidence on behalf of Mount Anvil and Hexagon Housing Association at a Public Inquiry regarding a development site at Abbey Road in the London Borough of Bexley, advising the London Borough of Lewisham on their response to an appeal scheme in Bromley Road, and advising developers at an informal hearing in the London Borough of Lambeth regarding a housing scheme in Denmark Road.
In two of the above cases Re: Engineering have been brought in to deal with the appeals and Inquiries, having not dealt with the original aplications.
Major website update due

A significant number of new clients have commissioned our services or old ones retaining us over the last year in 2005/2006.
The number of transport planning and managerial projects undertaken by Re: Engineering Consultancy Limited in the last six months has increased greatly.
The website does not currently reflect these projects or the successful progress made on a large number of our current projects, however, we will be undertaking a major update of our projects and clients pages in the early part of 2008 - so please visit again soon to see what 2007 meant for us and what we plan for 2008.

In October 2005, Re:Engineering registered to trade as a limited company.
Success in trading over the last year has seen Re: Engineering establish itself as a provider of quality services in the field of traffic, transport and highway consultancy services in many high profile projects.
The move to limited company status see Elizabeth Godfrey join Patrick Kent as a director of the newly formed company. Elizabeth complements Patrick Kent's technical and management experience with a sound background in financial and general management. Elizabeth is also qualified in modern languages and is fluent in German.
The new company is registered as Re: Engineering Consultancy Limited, but will also still operate simply as Re: Engineering.

Re: Engineering to sponsor Junior Football

Re: Engineering have been delighted to have sponsored under-12s football team Southside Juniors FC over the last two seasons.
As the team players move on to new clubs Re: Engineering wish them all the best for the future and success in their new leagues.

Re: Engineering is happy to announce that the updating of the support services for its website are now fully complete. The website, designed and constructed by David Roberts of DSR, originally went live on 1st April 2004, a little over five months after the business owned by Pat Kent started trading.
Pat Kent said that he is extremely pleased with the project and the services provided by David Roberts and DSR. The new support provided by DSR continues to build on the media window they have constructed for Re: Engineering.
London Borough of Sutton - Extended contract

Re: Engineering has recently been appointed to assist in the re-organisation and restructuring of the three groups delivering the highway, traffic, transport and major works functions at the London Borough of Sutton. It is anticipated that the new structure would be operational by January 2005.
With the first stage of the re-structuring complete Re: Engineering were commissioned to undertake the next phase of the work to develop the organisational structure and undertaking the assimilation of staff.
The work included the creation of new job descriptions and person specifications Re: Engineering have now been re-commissioned to undertaking a programme of change management and culture change within the new structure.
